Free books. You want em? Here. Take em.

The Eighth Day Free Techno Thriller NovelI made my debut novel, The Eighth Day, available free to download a couple weeks ago. Why? Have I lost my mind? Actually, no. Although I’ve sold upwards of 4,000 copies and received a bunch of very good reviews (99 reviews and 4.6/5 stars as of this post, to be exact), my goal is to ultimately drum up interest in my next novel. So, I made The Eighth Day free in the hope people would read it and say to themselves, “This is really good! I want more. What’s next?” And voila! I will hand them my next book.

So I went in search of ways to get my book in front of readers, and in doing so, I found a bunch of other authors who were also giving away their books. And some of their stuff was pretty good! I’ve compiled links to all the offers I found.

Free Books

Here’s the links. Don’t say I never gave ya nothin. But some of these are limited time offers, so don’t wait. Download your books today and enjoy.

I also highly recommend you check out Instafreebie. They’ve got a crazy number of free books available on their website. It’s not always easy to tell what’s high quality and what’s trash, but hey. It’s free. And with a little research on Google and Amazon, you can usually find something about the author and their other books and figure out if they’re any good or not before you decide to download.

Fair warning: most books will require your email address in exchange for the download. That’s so authors can add you to their mailing lists. It’s not a big deal, though. Some actually have pretty interesting newsletters, and if you don’t like what they have to say, you can always unsubscribe at any time.

To Free or Not to Free

Do you prefer to hunt for hidden gems that you can get for free, or do you like to stick to the tried and true and only download those with proven track records (i.e. books with good reviews on sites like Amazon and Goodreads).
